LES GAILLARDS

The diversity of the collective – MILESTONE OF VICTORY!

There are encounters that owe nothing to chance but everything to evidence.
When Eden Park, a house inspired by rugby and shaped by its requirement for elegance and quality for nearly 40 years, crosses paths with the Gaillards, France's first inclusive rugby team and reigning world champions, it is more than a meeting: it is a "match" that is written in the continuity of the values of this sport.

For their part, the Gaillards have been treading the fields of the associative sector for over 23 years with an unshakeable conviction: to make rugby a space where everyone, regardless of their identity, gender, age, sexual orientation or background, finds their place. Created in 2003, they were the first inclusive club in France. Their objective? To open up the game: to make the pitch a space for inclusion, without barriers, and to affirm that this sport can welcome everyone.

SUPPORT THE GAILLARDS

From this meeting is born a concrete gesture, both simple and powerful: a limited edition t-shirt, designed by the Gaillards and produced by Eden Park. More than just a t-shirt, it is a manifesto, a flag to wear to say that rugby unites and celebrates plurality.

By purchasing this t-shirt, each person is not only acquiring an Eden Park signed object. They are directly supporting the Gaillards, since 10% of sales will be donated to the club.

This gesture will help fund their participation in the Bingham Cup 2026 in Australia – the World Cup of inclusive clubs – and thus allow them to defend their world champion title.

INCLUSION

"Whatever your gender or sexual orientation, we don't pay attention to all that, and that's precisely what I find pleasant about inclusive rugby."

KINDNESS

"Team spirit takes on a particular dimension thanks to our diversity. We all come with our backgrounds, in a spirit of sharing and meeting."

COMMITMENT

"Sur le terrain, il faut attaquer fort les intervalles et déblayer avec engagement. C'est ce mot, l'engagement, qui s'applique aussi en dehors du terrain."

SURPASSING YOURSELF

"We don't want to stay among ourselves, play rugby only among homosexuals. The idea is to be supported by actors integrated into the rugby community."

ENGAGEMENT

"On the field, you have to attack the gaps hard and clear with commitment. It's this word, commitment, that also applies off the field."

TOLERANCE

"Doubting your place in a sport is quite normal. But if an LGBT person doubts because of their orientation, the problem is not the sport itself, it's the environment in which they practice it. That's precisely the Gaillards' mission: we don't aim to get everyone into rugby, but we want sexual orientation or physique to never be a barrier to practicing this sport."
